"Monitoring on prevention of swine flu in Azerbaijan did not reveal А/H1N1," the Azerbaijani Agriculture Ministry State Veterinary Service reported.
"Monitoring was held in swine-breeding farms of the country. A total of 388 samples of blood were taken to laboratories for testing. No virus was revealed," the Service said.
Swine-breeding farms are in the Gabala, Zagatala, Shaki, Balakan and Ganja regions and Apsheron peninsula.
The analogue monitoring will be commenced since June 1 given the possible spread of the virus in he country.
Azerbaijan banned the import of meat products from the American and European contingent.
