Around 440 cases of violating land legislation were registered in Azerbaijan in 2012, chairman of the State Committee for Land and Cartography Garib Mammadov said at an enlarged board meeting today.
"The violations were removed in 136 cases after the violators were warned," he said. "The protocols were drawn in connection with 304 administrative violations. The violators were fined at the amount of 22,157 Manat, of which 3,689 Manat have been already paid. The relevant documents were submitted to the court to pay remaining 18,468 Manat."
He added that these administrative violations were committed by three officials, one legal entity and 436 physical entities.
"The State Committee for Land and Cartography considered 2,870 complaints in 2012, of which 659 had previously been made, 565 complaints requiring special monitoring; appropriate measures were taken," he said.
The official exchange rate is 0.7847 AZN/USD on Feb. 15.
