TEHRAN, Iran, May 25. Iran is planning to increase exports of aquatic products to reach its $1 billion export target, said the Deputy Minister of Agriculture Hossein Hosseini, Trend reports citing IRNA.
"Iran's current aquatic products export is $555 million and the country will increase production to compete with other countries and explore new markets," he said.
Hosseini added that Iran is currently producing 12,000 tons of fish which will be increased to 18,000 tons by 2025.
