Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend , corr S.Aliyev / Azerenerji Joint-Stock Company has launched the construction of a new module power grid in Sangachal with a capacity of 300 MW.
The construction work of the project will begin this year jointly with the Finnish company Wartsila. Azerenerji stated that the Swiss-Swedish company ABB will also play a part in the construction work which is scheduled to be completed by September 2008.
Wartsila presented new technology on switching the module power station in Sangachal from gas to mazut and vice versa to intensify the process. Previously the company proposed the transition for 24 hours and presently it takes 30 minutes.
The construction of energy generating power in Sangachal is needed for the provision of high quality and uninterrupted electricity of the Absheron peninsular.
