BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, September 10. A series of agreements were signed in Kyrgyzstan following the International Economic Forum "Issyk-Kul 2024," Trend reports.
Business representatives from Kyrgyzstan, China, Russia, Uzbekistan, and several other countries participated in the forum. Discussions focused on cooperation in the fields of energy, agriculture, industry, healthcare, education, hospitality, architecture and construction (engineering), information technology, logistics, and international transportation.
The following documents were signed as a result of the forum:
-Memorandum of cooperation between the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Kyrgyzstan in the Chuy region and Zhongji Kaiyuan Industrial Development (Xinjiang) Co. Ltd., concerning investment and the construction of an integrated foreign customs warehouse.
-Memorandum of merger between Baidoujia Shijiangzhuang and China Asia Automobile Service Co.
-Memorandum of cooperation between the National Investment Agency under the President of Kyrgyzstan and Huahe International, aimed at finding an investor for the construction of the Kazarman hydropower plant.
-Memorandum of cooperation between Vorontsovka Lux LLC and the Shandong Province Medical Innovation Platform.
-Memorandum of cooperation between the government of Linyi city and the Tokmak city mayor’s office.
-Memorandum of cooperation on the construction of a building materials manufacturing plant between BNBM Building Materials Central Asia LLC and Imperial Stroy Trade LLC.
-Memorandum of cooperation between the National Investment Agency under the President of Kyrgyzstan and Nanjing Huajin Bureau Asset Management Co.
"Kyrgyzstan places special emphasis on attracting investments as a key factor for sustainable economic growth and development. Attracting international and private investments is considered a priority task, as it contributes to infrastructure modernization, the development of strategically important sectors, the creation of new jobs, and the improvement of the population's quality of life. To achieve these goals, the country's leadership is actively working on creating a favorable investment climate by implementing necessary reforms and legislative initiatives," said Talantbek Imanov, Director of the National Investment Agency under the President of Kyrgyzstan, at the opening of the forum.
