BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 5. Businessmen from UAE purchased gasoil from Turkmen production during trading on March 31 at the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan, Trend reports with reference to the exchange.
Entrepreneurs from UAE purchased 10,000 tons of gasoil on the exchange at a price of $320 per ton. The total amount of the transactions was $3.2 million.
All gas oil shipped for export was produced at the Seydi Oil Refinery, located in the Lebap region of Turkmenistan.
At the same time, according to the exchange, on March 29, entrepreneurs from Afghanistan purchased 3,000 tons of liquefied gas in the amount of $1 million.
Turkmenistan ranks among the world's leading countries in terms of oil and gas reserves. The country pays great attention to the construction of oil and gas processing plants, as well as the export of energy resources to world markets.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
