The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for Feb. 17:
Export floor: Offers 32,781 tons of rice.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 52,015 tons of chemicals, polymers, slap wax, bitumen, lube cut oil, sulfur and vacuum bottom feed stock.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 5,000 tons of direct-reduced iron (DRI).
Agriculture floor: Offers 131,000 day-old chicks, 34,800 tons of wheat, 5,750 tons of sugar, 1,000 tons of crude vegetable oil, 170 tons of large lentil and 735 tons of maize within the framework of supportive price plan.
Furthermore, the side market of IME offers 100 tons of lactic butter from Germany and Belgium.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets.
There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
