"These two obstacles have been eliminated. Two days ago the State Committee for Property Management provided us with headquarters. Though our headquarters needs repairs, we already have our own headquarters. As to the representation of the party in CEC, parliament will give a positive response to it in the autumn session," he said.
"Some parties have decided not to take part in the elections. We decided to do so not to let the voters of opposition to support government and to use the support of these voters in favor of our party striving for the well being of Azerbaijan," Qazanfaroglu said an d added that the documents will be submitted to CEC within the next few days. "We will have enough time. The election headquarters of our party and regional organizations are fully ready for the elections," he said.
The opposition GEP was established in 2004 and registered in 2005. The chairman of the party Qazanfaroglu is member of Azerbaijani parliament.
