Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, Feb.4 / Trend corr A. Taniyev /
The Kyrgyz parliament received a draft decree to annul an agreement signed in 2001 to allow coalition forces to use the Manas Air Base.
A parliamentary official told Trend that the document will be reviewed at a session on Feb. 5.
Manas will be shut down, Kyrgyz President Kurmanbek Bakiyev said at a news conference in Moscow.
The air base was launched in December 2001 by an UN mandate to support coalition forces in anti-terrorism operations in Afghanistan.
