About 47 criminal cases were submitted to the court in Azerbaijan for five months of this year.

The investigation towards 88 people accused of corruption crimes was completed.

The Office for Combating Corruption under the Azerbaijani Prosecutor General submitted criminal cases associated with bribery, official misconduct, abuse of authority, negligence, looting of people's property, fraud and other crimes to the court, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office told Trend.

There are cases against Goranboy State Social Protection Fund department head Allahverdi Aliyev, an employee of "Ganja Textile" Afig Mammadov, chief consultants of Sumgait Social Care Centre for Social Welfare Rashid Hasanov and Rashad Yagubov, as well as chief adviser to the sector of social assistance and Social Payment Center for Social Welfare of Nizami district of Baku Namik Maharramov.

Currently, the Office for Combating Corruption under the Prosecutor General continued the investigation of 47 criminal cases.
