Green Party of Azerbaijan can join the opposition bloc, the party chairman Mais Gulaliyev told Trend.
"The decision to join the party to any opposition bloc or its independent activity will be taken at a meeting of the Management Board of the Party in late June", he said.
The Green Party intends to nominate 10 candidates for parliamentary elections, the party leader said.
"Our candidates will be nominated mainly on the electoral districts of Baku", he said.
The parliamentary elections will be held in Azerbaijan in autumn this year. Previous legislative elections were held in November 2005. In Azerbaijan, parliamentary elections are held by the majority system in 125 electoral districts.
