Huseynli / The Chairman of the Azerbaijan State Committee on Work with Religious Organizations, Hidayat Orujev, left for New York on 3 October to participate in the UN General Assembly's roundtable on 'Cooperation for Accord and Peace among Religions and Cultures' to take place from 4 to 5 October, according to the State Committee.
At the meeting, which includes representatives of over 120 countries, Orujev will speak on the state of religion in Azerbaijan.
Within the framework of the visit, Orujev will meet with the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Conference, Ekmeleddin Ihsan, and a UNESCO representative, Elena-Maria Gosselin.
