Azerbaijan's Ministry of Culture and Tourism urged Azerbaijani citizens not to travel to Egypt and tour companies to refrain from organising tours to that country.
The Ministry does not recommend that Azerbaijani citizens and travel agencies organise trips to Egypt or depart for Egypt on their own because of the unstable situation in the country, a report posted on Ministry's official website said.
"We note that all travel companies have been informed about the suspension of activities on the registration of visits to Egypt. The ministry will make an official statement when the situation in Egypt stabilises and there are safe conditions for the arrival of foreign tourists", the report said.
