The Azerbaijani Health Ministry denied information, spread by media on the death of 2 Azerbaijani children from bird flu on Pirallahy Peninsula, Trend reports referring to a news release by the Ministry.
Sisters Inara and Tukezban Gasimovs, lived on Pirallahy Peninsula, were brought with high temperature to hospital 7 on 12 February. As a result of examination doctors revealed that the children were not in contact with birds and did not use poultry. They had symptoms of infection with respiratory virus. After a course of treatment the state of the children improved and they were discharged from the hospital.
According to chief doctor Efendiyev, the state of the sisters is normal.
