United Credit Bank plans to expand its authorized capital by 10 million manat in 2009, said United Credit Bank Deputy Chairman Vahid Aliyev.
"Bank's shareholders have not yet made a final decision to increase the capital. So, time and amount have not yet been specified. However, the capital is expected to rise by 10 million manat," he said.
Aliyev did not divulge sources for expanding the capital.
As of Feb. 1, United Credit Bank authorized capital hit 12.108 million manat, aggregate capital hit 13.375 million manat and assets hit 33.393 million manat.
On Feb. 13, the official exchange rate is 0.8062 manat to $1.
