Teachers from Turkish insurance institute to conduct introductory course for Azerbaijani insurers

The Azerbaijani Insurers Association together with Turkish cooperation and development department (TIKA) prepares for introductory course for Azerbaijani insurers, the association executive director Gafar Mejidov said on May 5.

"Introductory course is planned to be launched in late May," Mejidov said. 

Introductory course will cover all existing kinds of insurance, he said.

Three teachers from Turkish Insurance Institute will conduct lessons. Duration of the course is one month (110 hours), payment for study hits 500-600 manat.

Insurers successfully completing the course can continue studying in Turkish Insurance Institute. The institute's certificates were admitted by London Insurance Institute, Mejidov said.   

TIKA is represented by various humanitarian-social, communication and cultural projects and programs in many countries. These projects have great importance in forming positive and friendly attitude of local population towards Turkey and its policy. 

Azerbaijani Insurers Association's supervising council includes five companies (MBASK, Standard Insurance, international insurance company, Azersigorta, Ateshgah) and all operating insurance companies was established in December 2006.
