Zamin Bank Open Joint Stock Company has completed the integration of Caspian Money Transfer with international Lider and Intel Express, said the bank.
Thanks to integration with Lider and Intel Express systems, 7,000 service points in Russia, UK, Belarus, Turkey, Italy, Spain, Greece, Moldova, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Lithuania and Georgia have connected to the CMT.
At present the CMT system is integrated with the Russian "Golden Crown" system and the international payment system of the Ukrainian Bank Finance and Credit - AVERS
The CMT system allows transferring money to Azerbaijan, Russia, UK, Turkey, Spain, Italy, Greece, Ukraine, Lithuania, Belarus, Moldova, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
Commission for transfer via the CMT is 1.5-2 percent.
The need to form the Azerbaijani transfer system [it operates since 2008] is related to the large number of compatriots outside the country who perform monthly remittances. There are about 800,000 Azerbaijanis in Ukraine, while this figure exceeds two million in Russia.
