Azerbaijan to Participate at International Telecommunication Symposium

Azerbaijan is to take part in the III International Symposium of Telecommunication without Boundaries to be held in Odessa on August 21-23. According to the Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technologies, the participation of Mekhan Hassanov, the General Director of the Production Association of Aztelecom is also expected in this arrangement, Trend reports. The symposium will be held by the State Department of Telecommunication Issues and Informatization of Ukraine jointly with the Odessa National Telecommunication Academy named after A. S. Popov.

The subject of the forthcoming symposium is 1) telecommunication networks (installation of next generation networks (NGN) and technologies of its maintenance, theoretical and practical aspects of installation and maintenance of LAN, MAN, WAN, methods of protection of information; 2) means and systems of communication(development of means

of telecommunication, fiber-optic communication lines and systems of communication, wireless system of radio access (Wi-Fi, WiMAX), systems of mobile, radio relay, and satellite communications; 3) information technologies in e-space (Internet-technologies of creation and maintenance of e-government, e-business, e-medicine, e-education, issues of development and creation of information and communication applications and services, marketing, and advertisement of e-applications, services; 4) administration and management (state policy of development of competition, licensing, monitoring, and management of quality of the operators work, business processes, and models of management of companies, management of projects, and strategic management, personnel policy, and relations with personnel)

Among the permanent participants of this arrangement there will be also representatives of Austria, Armenia, Byelorussia, Great Britain, Hungary, Germany, Georgia, Moldova, Norway, Poland, Russia, Romania, Slovakia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Czech Republic, and other countries.
