By Elena Kosolapova - Trend: Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev signed the law imposing criminal liability for financial pyramids creation, Novosti-Kazakhstan reported with reference to the presidential press-service.
The law also envisages criminal liability for leadership of such pyramids.
A number of measures aimed at prevention and combating the functioning of the financial pyramids will be taken in Kazakhstan, according to the law.
The law should improve the level of protection of Kazakh citizens' constitutional rights and freedoms, interest of legal entities and increase the efficiency of the prosecuting bodies, prosecutors and courts.
