BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 30. Representatives of the Ministry of Finance of Tajikistan visited Georgia to study issues of improvement of financial statements of large state-owned enterprises, Trend reports citing the Tajik ministry's press service.
On November 21-26, 2022, the Deputy Minister of Finance of Tajikistan Karim Gulmurodzoda met with the Deputy Minister of Finance of Georgia Mirza Gelashvili.
During the meeting, specialists of the Ministry of Finance of Tajikistan studied the issues of improving the quality of financial statements of large state-owned enterprises, assessing fiscal risks of state-owned enterprises, and reforming the management of enterprises.
According to the Ministry, this experience makes it possible to correctly assess fiscal risks arising from large state-owned enterprises, and to make their management transparent.
