Presidential Candidate Mohsun Rezaie addressing to the Interior Ministry with an open letter said that the detailed statistics of the results of the vote has not yet been published, although five days passed from the election.

Rezaie's open letter, posted on the official Web site of the presidential candidate, states each presidential candidate has the right to see the detailed statistics of the voting results. "If I had not asked for statistics, I would have never received accurate data," Rezaie said. In the same letter sent to Sadig Mahsouli, Rezaie added that the delay in providing detailed information on voting arouses doubt. He threatened the Interior Minister that if the statistics on the elections is not declared within a day, he will appeal to the Guard Council not for a new recount, but with a different demand.

Other presidential candidates Mir-Hossein Mousavi and Mehdi Karroubi demanded to hold new elections.
