Real Madrid midfielder Guti has signed with Istanbul's Besiktas, the Turkish press reported Monday.
Guti, who previously only played for Real Madrid, signed a two- year contract reportedly worth 2.7 million euros (3.4 million dollars) per season, DPA reported.
The player arrived in Istanbul on Sunday night for an official signing where he was greeted by some 500 frenzied Besiktas fans.
Coming to Besiktas will allow Guti to reunite with his former coach Bernd Schuster.
