A crisis center established at Istanbul Police, after the events in the park Gezi in Taksim Square, the newspaper Zaman reported.
Center is headed by the Governor of Istanbul Huseyin Avni Mutlu. The situation was discussed by Hüseyin Mutlu and Istanbul police Chief Hüseyin Chapkyn. Details were not disclosed.
Due to Taksim Square' riots, a statement is expected by Turkish officials.
