The number of Turkish citizens looking for a job in Israel decreased from January through September 2020, the Turkish Employment Agency (ISKUR) told Trend on Oct. 13.
The number of Turkish citizens, who visited Israel through ISKUR for employment purposes, decreased by 1.7 percent from January through September 2020 compared to the same period of 2019.
ISKUR added that 288 Turkish citizens visited Israel through ISKUR during the reporting period.
From January through September 2020, 7,600 Turkish citizens went abroad via ISKUR, which is 46.7 percent less compared to the same period of 2019.
As many as 91,130 citizens were provided with jobs through ISKUR in Turkey in September 2020, 32.9 percent of them accounted for women, while 67.1 percent - men.
According to the report, 97.4 percent of the total number of those provided with jobs in September 2020 accounted for the private sector.
The number of unemployed in Turkey reached 3.1 million people in September 2020; 46.7 percent of them accounted for women while 53.3 percent - for men.
