Iran to import water from Tajikistan

Under the tripartite agreement, which will soon be signed between Iran, Tajikistan and Afghanistan, Iran will import water from Tajikistan, the Minister of Energy of Iran Majid Namjou said, the official website of the Ministry of Energy of Iran reported. This water is intended for use in power plants. Namjou did not specify the amount of water, which is planned to purchase.
