Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva met with heads and representatives of some reputable media outlets from the Russian federation on the sidelines of the 3rd Baku International Humanitarian Forum.
During the meeting, Leyla Aliyev noted that the Forum has been held for the third time, saying the Azerbaijan's capital is the most appropriate place for organization of such an event. The Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation said that organization of such reputable international events has become regular. Saying Azerbaijan and Russia share deeply rooted historical relations, Aliyeva noted that the Heydar Aliyev Foundation opened its first office in Russia.
Aliyeva pointed out that Russia`s care for the Azerbaijani Youth of Russia Union, Baku magazine, and Azerbaijan`s care for Russian language and literature and Baku branch of the Lomonosov Moscow State University contribute to the development of ties between the two countries.
Head of Russian media said that Baku is very interesting city in terms of its architecture. They highlighted hospitality of Azerbaijanis.
The Russian media representatives praised the activity of the IDEA campaign initiated by Leyla Aliyeva. They noted that Azerbaijani media is free and professional.
