Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. К.Zarbaliyeva / The search for two girls who are missing from the Dag Brizi region of Azerbaijan are continuing.
Nizami Sadigov, the chief of the Divichi region Police Department, has stated that the Samur-Absheron area was closed by the order of the Azerbaijani Internal Ministry and Prosecutor General's Office, due to the search of the two missing girls.
Faik Rzayev, the Prosecutor of Divichi region, has reported to Trend information agency that a criminal case has been filed over the fact with contravening Article 120.2.7 (wilful murder) of the Criminal Code of the Azerbaijan Republic.
There are no official reports of any suspicious circumstances in connection with the missing girls. However, several men have been detained.
The sisters left their home on 6 August. Relatives of the girls have appealed to the Police Department of Divichi region of Azerbaijan.
