Georgia, Czech Republic to sign contract to protect confidential data

Georgia and the Czech Republic will soon sign a contract to exchange and protect confidential data.

The Georgian International Relations Parliamentary Committee discussed the draft agreement on Feb. 18. The committee approved the draft.

The agreement envisages protecting confidential data by regarding governmental interests and security issues. Exchanging confidential data was implemented between states and private companies.

Georgia has similar agreements with Latvia, Ukraine and Estonia.
