Turkish-U.S organization of businessmen expressed gratitude to consulate general of Azerbaijan to Los Angeles for support of its activity.
Annual conference of TABC (Turkish-American Business Connection www.tabcon.org) was held in San Francisco on May 30. Prospects of Turkish-U.S cooperation and impact of the world financial crisis on investments in Turkey and the USA were discussed during the conference, consulate general told Trend .
TABC organization unites young Turkish specialists specializing in new technologies and investments projects. The organization was established in the North California five years ago. Head-quarter of the organization is situated in silicone valley in California. Its major goal is to assist strengthening of relations between business circles of Turkey and the USA. TABC closely cooperates with Azerbaijani organizations in the USA and shows great interest in our country within the last years.
Addressing at the conference president of TABC Efe Orhun delivered official document to consul general Elin Suleymanov by expressing gratitude to the Azerbaijani side for support of activity of the organization. Suleymanov stressed importance of close cooperation of Azerbaijan and Turkey for future of the whole region, as well as necessity in more coordination of efforts of Azerbaijani and Turkish communities in the USA. Such cooperation can be successful when it is based on mutual respect of interests and mutually profitable partnership.
Consul general highly appreciated achievements of Turkish specialists in IT. He stressed that development of new technologies and educational potential is one of major priorities of the Azerbaijani President's policy. Several Azerbaijani-U.S actions held in California by the Azerbaijani ministry of communication and IT were stressed as example of attention to this sphere by the government.
In his turn, Suleymanov delivered award Best entrepreneur of year to famous businessman, head of Golden Gate Software company Ali Kutay on the request of organizers of the conference and on behalf of TABC.
