Meetings on conflict prevention in Georgian-Ossetian stand-off resumed

A five-sided meeting on conflict prevention was launched today in the village of Dvani in the Georgian-Ossetian conflict zone. The head of the İnterior Ministry's analyses department, Shota Utiashvili, is heading the Georgian side, the Georgian İnterior Ministry told Trend . 

The meeting is being held within the Geneva format. The Georgian and Russian sides, the Tskhinvali administration and UN and OSCE representatives are taking part. 

It should be noted that the Geneva format meeting on conflict prevention was resumed after a suspension caused by an ultimatum from Tskhinvali. The Ossetian side called for the release of all Ossetians from Georgian prisons.
