Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry and the German organization "GİZ" signed a memorandum of understanding in Baku to provide technical assistance to Azerbaijan's International Development Assistance Office, the Foreign Ministry said.
The document was signed by Azerbaijan's Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov and Germany's GİZ country director in Azerbaijan, Henning Twesten.
Under the Memorandum of Understanding, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and the GİZ will provide technical assistance to the Azerbaijani side to improve the effectiveness of humanitarian and technical assistance to foreign countries. They will exchange their separate experiences.
The International Development Assistance Office of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry deals with providing humanitarian and technical assistance to foreign countries.
