Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has received Caucasus Muslims Office Chairman Sheikh-ul-Islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazade, who arrived in Tehran to attend an international conference.
"The fraternal relations between the two countries are so deep that no factors can damage them," Ahmadinejad said at the meeting.
He said Azerbaijani and Iranian peoples should unite even more. "Because our common neighbors do not want development and independence of the two peoples," Ahmadinejad said.
There have always been good relations between the Iranian and Azerbaijani people, and these relations also exist today, Pashazade said.
