BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 1. A total of 94 international observers from 23 countries and five organizations have been registered in connection with the snap parliamentary election in Azerbaijan so far, Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahov said at today's meeting of the CEC, Trend reports.
On June 28, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the dissolution of the Azerbaijani Parliament of the sixth convocation and the appointment of an extraordinary election to the Azerbaijani Parliament.
The snap election is scheduled for September 1, 2024.
