The President of the Republic of Kalmykia, President of the International Chess Federation Kirsan Ilyumjinov who goes to Dou Bayazid (Turkey) to participate in the International Chess Olympiad visited Nakchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) on the way.
The chairman of the Supreme Assembly of NAR Vasib Talibov met with Kirsan, Trend reports.
During the meeting, Kirsan noted that in 2003, he sent a congratulation letter to the participants of the World Chess Championship among youths held in Nakchivan.
Talibov wished successes to Kirsan in his visit to Turkey. Kirsan expressed his gratitude for frank meeting.
