BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 20. The Chare Radar screen, one of the Ar-Ge projects developed by Turkish engineers, intellectual and industrial property rights for which belong to the Turkish General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMI), has started to be used in Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
According to DHMI, the system, allows air traffic controllers to effectively manage air traffic and maintain security at the highest level, was installed at Baku's Heydar Aliyev Airport, Ganja and Fuzuli airports as part of a cooperation agreement signed between Türkiye and Azerbaijan.
"After training of users, the successfully completed system began to be applied in Azerbaijan's air traffic control services," the general directorate added.
In 2022, an appropriate protocol was signed between and Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZANS - Azerbaijan Air Navigation Services Department).
