Azerbaijan forecasts domestic investments to increase

The domestic investments will reach 13.1 billion manat ($7.7 billion) in Azerbaijan in 2022 in accordance with the forecast, Trend reports on Nov. 11 referring to the Azerbaijani draft state budget for next year.

According to the draft state budget, domestic investments will reach 14.5 billion manat ($8.5 billion), 15.2 billion manat ($8.9 billion) and 16.2 billion manat ($9.5 billion) in 2023, 2024 and 2025, respectively.

Thus, the volume of these investments will grow by 23.65 percent by 2025 compared to the forecast for 2022.

The investments in fixed assets amounted to 10.6 billion manat ($6.2 billion) in Azerbaijan from January through October 2021, which is by 11.5 percent less than in the same period of last year.

Some 7.02 billion manat ($4.1 billion) or 66.4 percent of funds allocated to fixed assets accounted for domestic funds.

The funds of enterprises and organizations in the total amount of funds allocated to fixed capital reached 55.1 percent, budgetary funds - 24.1 percent, other funds - 7.4 percent, personal funds of the population - 7.3 percent, bank loans - 6.1 percent.
