BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 27. Income from information and communication services provided to the population in Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan increased by 2.6 percent in first half of 2022 compared to the same period last year and exceeded 30.6 million manat ($18 million), Trend reports citing the report of Nakhchivan’s State Statistics Committee.
According to the committee, revenues from mobile communication services in Nakhchivan amounted to about 22.7 million manat ($13.3 million), during the reporting period, an increase of 1.7 percent compared to first half last year.
GDP of Nakhchivan increased by 2.2 percent in first half of 2022 compared to the same period in 2021.
According to committee, Nakhchivan's GDP exceeded 1.3 billion manat ($764.7 million) in the reporting period.
GDP per capita in Nakhchivan amounted to 2,942.8 manat ($1,731) in the reporting period, which is 2.3 percent more than in first half 2021.
