Azerbaijan, Baku, 2 April / Trend corr. U.Ismaylova / It is early for the Middle Asia and Caucasus countries to speak about the mutual invested insurance projects, Miradil Mirsadikov, the Europeaid expert on insurance in Uzbekistan stated.
"Today, our courtiers are borrowers of foreign investments and our markets are still not filled with the investments," Mirsadikov said.
The expert said the mutual investments will be possible through gradual development of the markets. Today, we should speak about re-insurance of the risks.
As for 2007, the joint premiums of Azerbaijani insurance companies reached $177mln and more than $56mln in Uzbekistan.
There are operating 29 insurance and one re-insurance company in Azerbaijan. There are 27 insurance, one re-insurance, one life insurance and 25 Non-Life insurance companies in Uzbekistan.
