Azerbaijani bank increasing number of branches

The Azerbaijani Bank Standard opened another branch in the Mardakan settlement on June 9.

Bank's 17th branch in Mardakan will involve new jobs and help further development of the social and economic infrastructure of the settlement and the whole region, Javid Guliyev, first Deputy Chairman of the Bank Board said delivering a speech at the opening ceremony.

A new branch of Bank Standard will provide a full range of retail banking services, as well as services to corporate clients. Individuals will be provided services to provide consumer loans, receive current and term deposits, sale of plastic cards, money transfer, currency exchange, payment of utilities. With regard to legal persons, the focus of this branch will pay the maintenance of small and medium-sized businesses.

Bank Standard has 21 offices including the head office. Sixteen of them including the head office and 12 branches and three centres are located in the capita. The rest five braches are located in Ganja, Guba, Lankaran, Siyazan and Sumgayit. Bank is planning to open a range of branches in regions, including in Mingachevir, Zagatala and Khirdalan.
