The State Service for Antimonopoly Policy and Consumer Protection under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development filed a case against a small enterprise "Xeqan", which sells audio-visual products, the service said.

The State Service for Antimonopoly Policy and Consumer Protection under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development filed a case against a small enterprise "Xeqan", which sells audio-visual products, the service said.

"The case was filed due to the revealed violations of the antitrust laws," the report said.

According to the law on "Unfair Competition", financial sanctions to the amount of 727 manat were imposed on the enterprise Xeqan. A decision was made to destroy 612 pirated DVD-discs.

The State Service acts to reveal the facts of unfair competition.
