The State Service for Antimonopoly Policy and Consumer Protection under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development has revealed the fact of the indicating the term of storage of dairy products - sour cream with fat content of 20 percent, cottage cheese with fat content of nine percent and dietary cottage cheese - more than envisaged by normative documents, as well as the lack of documents for packaging materials, the ministry said. These facts were revealed during the inspection at the facility owned by Gulbala Gasimzade, which is located in the Narimanov district of Baku.
In connection with the violations sales of 201.5 kilograms of dairy products were suspended and samples were taken for laboratory analysis, as a result of which bacteria of colibacillus was revealed in the sour cream. In addition, the fat content of cottage cheese was lower than indicated by nine percent, fat content of sour cream was indicated more than 20 percent, and oil has been added to the dietary cottage cheese, while it should not appear in this product.
In view of violations the state service instructed the company on the elimination of 201.5 kilograms of low-quality products. The fact is under investigation.
