Kazakhstan will be able to become the most attractive center for foreign direct investments, including within the Customs Union, CEO of Sberbank of Russia German Gref believes.
"Kazakhstan may become a Singapore or Hong Kong in terms of attracting investments in secondary sector," Gref said on Tuesday addressing the 25th meeting of the Foreign Investors Council in Astana.
He said today 65 percent of investments account for the primary sector. Over the past four years, the gap of investments in secondary and primary sectors decreased twice, he said.
"It is a very important factor, which shows that Kazakhstan's policy is aimed at diversification," Gref said.
