Azerbaijani Finance Ministry looking for consultants within WB project

The Azerbaijani Finance Ministry has announced a tender within the World Bank's (WB) Corporate and Public Sector Accountability Project (CAPSAP), according to the ministry's message.

The tender includes the provision of consulting services and training in Azerbaijan's regions for public sector employees. Applications for expression of interest must be submitted by December 30, 2013.

The total cost of CAPSAP is $24 million. The loan agreement for the project was signed in September 2008. The project is financed by an $11 million loan from the World Bank (WB) with grants from the Japanese PHRD foundation ($3 million), SECO ($2 million) and the Azerbaijani government ($8 million).

The aim of the project is to increase the transparency of the financial reporting system in the public and corporate sectors.

The official exchange rate for December 18 is 0.7844 AZN/USD.
