A sand and gravel processing plant was opened by "Bunedbek al-Bukhoriy" LLC in Peshkunski district of Bukhara region, Uzbek media reported.
This quarry, the largest in the Bukhara region, is capable of producing more than 30,000 cubic meters of products per year.
The company management reported that the enterprise with a total project cost of $452,000 is equipped with modern technologies. Here, a different sand-gravel mixture is produced, which is used in the construction of buildings, roads and other areas.
By the end of the year, it is expected to organize a production of reinforced concrete products.
The plant has already received numerous orders.
Taking into account the increase in the scope of construction, Uzbek authorities pay special attention to the development of the production of building materials. This year it is planned to implement 24 projects worth 679.364 billion soums in this area and create 1213 new jobs.
In January of 2018, Uzbekistan experienced the highest price increase on building material by more than 10, analysts of the Central Bank reported.
In January 2018, Uzbekistan recorded construction and installation works in the amount of 1966.4 billion soums, which is less by 6.1 percent compared to the same period of 2017.
