In February 2018, 920 companies with Arab capital were registered in Turkey, which is 33 companies less than in February 2017, according to a report of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).
According to the report, a total of 953 Arab companies were registered in Turkey in February 2017.
Total capital of Arab companies registered in Turkey amounted to 183.8 million Turkish liras in February 2018, while it stood at 250.9 million Turkish liras in February 2017.
In February 2018, 365 Syrian companies and 158 companies from Saudi Arabia were registered in Turkey.
A total of 58,422 foreign companies were registered in Turkey in 2017. In 2017, the number of registered German companies was 428, Syrian - 256, Iranian - 231 and Russian - 146. The remaining 57,225 companies fall to the share of other countries.
The number of registered foreign companies in Turkey grew 14.38 percent in 2017 compared to 2016.
