The number of participants of the online car auction in Azerbaijan has increased, Head of Audatex Azerbaijan Zakir Karimzade told Trend on Nov. 21.
“There are two corporate sellers at the auction,” he said.
Karimzade refused to disclose the names of the companies, stressing that one company is leasing cars, while the second is one of the Azerbaijani biggest holdings.
“Today, there are 12 corporate buyers at the auction,” he said. “These are mainly legal entities who operate in the Azerbaijani automotive market.”
He expressed confidence that the number of auction participants will grow.
For the first time in Azerbaijan, Audatex launched an online car auction by connecting to Autoonline, the biggest auction in Europe for sale of vehicles.
Cars of insurance companies, banks and other companies are planned to be put up on sale at the online auction.
