Azerbaijani salt producer Nakhchivan Duz Istehsali Ltd. plans to start exporting its products to Turkish market before the end of 2019, the company told Trend.
The company is currently satisfied with the sales in the domestic market.
"We assume that primary deliveries outside the country will be small. And, most likely, they may begin in the second half of the year," the company said.
The company added that similar export offers come from neighboring Russia as well.
"So far, we can consider only one export destination, and most likely, it will be Turkey. We plan to export table and industrial salt," the company noted.
The company's products have a Certificate of Conformity issued by the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents, as well as a hygiene certificate issued by the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology of the Azerbaijani Healthcare Ministry.
Nakhchivan Duz Istehsali Ltd. operates modern equipment made in Russia, Turkey and Iran.
