The French construction company SADE may purchase polyethylene pipes from Azerbaijan’s Azneftmash company, head of the supply department of Azneftmash Shahriyar Babayev told Trend.

According to him, currently Azneftmash is actively looking for foreign partners for the sale of production equipment.

"The Azneftmash company is engaged in the production of drilling equipment in the oil and gas industry. We produce equipment for drilling rigs, pumping machines from 3 to 8 tons, lifting equipment, mobile drilling rigs, and drilling with parameters from 50 tons to 170 tons," Babayev said.

"The French company SADE became interested in our products, and company representatives will visit our company's factory next month. I suppose that if the company's products are of interest to French partners, then we will proceed to discuss the volume of purchases in August,” he continued.

He noted that the company currently needs to replace outdated equipment with new one.

"We need to update the production arsenal of machine tools. In addition to SADE, the French company Bpifrance is also interested in Azneftmash’s products. We agreed that representatives of this company will visit our company in the near future," Babayev said.

The French company SADE has been operating in Azerbaijan for more than 10 years. In 2018, the company took an active part in the implementation of the “Agilli Sheher” (Smart City) project and in projects in the field of land reclamation. It is currently completing projects on the construction of water reservoirs and water treatment plants in Shabran and Siyazan.
