The State Glass Factory, located in Azerbaijan’s Garadagh district, plans to launch a new production line in the near future, the plant’s director Zaur Yagubov told Trend.
There is one production line at the plant, Yagubov said.
“We are working on the development of a second production line,” the director noted, adding that the opening of the new production line will make it possible to produce 50-60 million glass bottles annually.
Yagubov said that the plant intends to complete the development of the new production line by the end of 2019.
“We expect to launch a new production line in the first two months of 2020,” the director noted. “This will significantly increase the production capacity of the plant.”
State Glass Factory, founded in 2018, is one of the facilities of the Azerbaijan Industrial Corporation (AIC).
Most of the raw materials for the plant are imported from Russia, Ukraine, Turkey and other countries.
