Iran reveals industrial and mining companies sales data for seventh month

The sales of 74 Iranian industrial companies’ operating in the mining industry at Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) increased by 76 percent in the first 7th month of the current Iranian year (from September 22 through October 21, 2020) compared to the same month last Iranian year, Trend reports citing Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).

According to statistics, in total, the companies’ sales at IME amounted to 304 trillion rials (about $7.24 billion) during the reporting month.

“The sales of Iran’s Mobarakeh Steel Company amounted to 67 trillion rials (about $1.59 billion) in the seventh month of the current Iranian year, Khouzestan Steel Company - 38 trillion rials (about $905 million),” the statistics said.

Moreover, the sales of National Iranian Copper Industries Company amounted to 32 trillion rials (about $762 million) over the same month, Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company - 25 trillion rials (about $595 million), and Hormozgan Steel Company - 19 trillion rials (about $452 million), the statistics added.

According to the statistics, the sales of Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company amounted to 18.6 trillion rials (about $443 million) within the 7th month, Esfahan Steel Company - 18.5 trillion rials (about $440 million) and South Kaveh Steel Company - 12 trillion rials (about $286 million).

“At the same time, the sales of Gohar Zamin Iron Ore Company amounted to 11 trillion rials (about $262 million) during this month, and Khorasan Steel Company - 9.8 trillion rials (about $233 million),” the report noted.
